It is possible to attach documents to an email sent by PRIM. There is 3 document types that you can attach:
•A report generated by PRIM: allows attachment of a report generated by PRIM. Available reports will vary depending on the communication context. The report will be displayed in the language or the message and recipient.
•A file from your computer: attach a document from your computer, making sure it is in the right language.
•A file from "Document management" in PRIM: allows you to add a document available in the contact's file. This option will only be available for customized attachements for a specific contact in Preview before sending tab (see step 6).
1.In Communication section of Home ribbon, click on (Send an email or SMS), choose Send email. The window "Sending of the messages" is displayed.
2.In Message template tab, write your message in a first language, and to add an attachment fro all recipient in this language, click on (Add an attachment). A window pops-up allowing you to choose the file type to be attached.
3.If required, repeat the above step for all relevant languages.
4.To remove an attachment, select the file to be removed in the template of the relevant language and click on (Delete an attachment).
5.Switch to Preview before sending tab, verify the recipients and other options.
6.As required, if personalized attachments should be added for some specific recipients, select the recipient, click on and add the relevant attachments for this recipient.
7.Click on .
If you insert attachments under the first tab, "Message template", and the message is sent to several contacts, all contact to whom the message is addressed will receive the same attachment, except for a PRIM generated report will be personalized for each recipient. A different document must be added in each language of the template (document in the proper language), including reports generated by PRIM, although the document will be the same in this specific situation.
If you add an attachment under the second tab, "Preview before sending", only the selected contact will receive the attached file. In this situation, you can customize the attachments for each contact. To do so, click on after selecting the contact.
