In ATS, each application is associated to a status. See the table for ATS application statuses below to learn more.
The status of applications will evolve depending on the actions performed (for example a communication with the candidate) or interest indicated by either party.
It is also possible, in some cases, to modify the status of an application manually: to do so, click on the magnifier icon to the right of the status of the selected application and choose one of the proposed statuses.
Each application or matching between a job offer and a candidate has it's own status. Application status evolution will bring you to the step where you can assign the candidate.
The list of statuses shown below is for your information only. The list of available statuses might be different in your company and can be adapted.
There could be several candidates for a trial period for a position, but only one candidate will be hired for the position.

Self-managed - variants |
The client create the job offer and manage it from the Web portal. All statuses beginning with "Self-managed" refer to this type of job offers (Self-managed - candidate interested, Self-managed - client interested, Self-managed - both sides interested parties). |

New web application |
A new candidate has been added by applying on the Web. This may be a previously registered candidate who did not meet all the criteria, or a new candidate who registered on the Web portal by applying to the job offer from the job board. |
Accepted by agency |
The agency accepts the correspondence between the job offer and the candidate. The job offer will be proposed to the candidate. |
Refused by agency |
The agency refuses the correspondence between the job offer and the candidate. The job offer will not be proposed to the candidate. |
Considered - Agency |
The agency has taken notice of the correspondence between the job offer and the candidate, but has not taken its decision as to whether it will propose the position to the candidate. |
Job offer proposed to candidate |
The job offer has been proposed to the candidate, waiting for the answer. |
Refused by candidate |
The job offer was proposed to the candidate and he has refused the sending of its application to the client. |
Cancelled by agency |
The agency has canceled the application. |
Resume ready to be sent to the client |
The candidate has agreed to have their application sent to the client.. |
Candidate cancels application before resume sent |
The candidate has agreed to have their application sent to the client., but canceled application before the resume was sent to client. |
Pending contract |
Waiting for a document to be added to the "Contract" section of the client file in order to continue with sending the application to the client. |
Resume sent to the client |
The resume has been sent to the client. |
Resume appreciated by the client |
The resume was sent to the client, who appreciated the application. |
Resume refused by client |
The resume was sent to the client, who rejected the application. |
Candidate cancels application after sending resume |
Application has been sent to client, but the candidate subsequently canceled application. |
Candidate must decide |
The client and candidate are in contact, and the client informs the agency that the decision rests with the candidate. |
Candidate did not return call |
The client and the candidate are in contact, and the client informs the agency that the candidate has not returned their call. |
Client has not taken a decision |
The client and the candidate are in contact, and the client informs the agency that they have not yet made a decision. |
Hasn't been contacted yet |
The application has been sent to the client, but they have not yet contacted the candidate. |
Interview |
An interview with the candidate is scheduled at the client's premises. |
Additional interview |
A second (or more) interview is scheduled at the client's premises. |
Candidate missed the interview |
The candidate missed the interview at the client's office. |
Candidate cancels interview |
An interview was scheduled, and the candidate canceled it. |
Candidate cancels application after the interview |
Following the interview, the candidate withdraws their application. |
Client cancels interview |
An interview was scheduled, and the client canceled it. |
Not selected following the interview |
The client did not select this candidate following the interview. |
Trial period |
The candidate is on probation with the client. The position is not considered filled and is not yet billable.

Conclusive trial period |
Hiring imminent! The candidate is currently on trial with the client, and the client is satisfied. However, the trial period is not yet over, so the job offer is not yet billable. |
Inconclusive trial period |
The candidate was on trial with the client, but the client is not satisfied.
★ The status of the position will revert to "Vacant" (or "Trial period" if another candidate is on trial). |
Candidate cancels after trial period |
The candidate was on trial period with the client, but the candidate is not satisfied.

Hired for contract |
The candidate has been hired and the postion has an end date.
★ The status of the job offer will change to “Filled,” and the position is ready to be billed. |
Hired without warranty period |
The candidate is hired. The job offer is ready for billing. |
Warranty Period |
The candidate has been hired. The job offer has been invoiced. The status of the job offer will change to “Hired - under warranty.”. |
Candidate resigned during warranty period |
The candidate was hired, but resigned during the warranty period. |
Warranty expired |
The candidate has been hired, and the guarantee period has ended. The status of the job offer is now “Hired - warranty finished". |
Layoff |
The candidate was hired and then laid off. |
