1.Go to the toolbox at the following address:  https://primlogix.com/toolbox/

2.Download PRIM Installer (PRIMInstall.zip). The installer is compressed (.zip), so you need to decompress (extract the files) before you can install.

3.Once the file has been decompressed, go to the location where it was extracted.

ⅰYou must have computer administration rights to perform the initial PRIM installation.

4.Launch PRIMInstall.exe in administrator mode.

5.Choose the language that will be used during the installation.

6.Click on Next, and then on Install.

7.The installation wizard will install the database drivers required for the system to function correctly.

ⅰIf you get error messages about you connection or anything related to servers, you need to install the latest c++ redistributable, the latest SQL server 19 driver and run “primupdate.exe” again. Your IT team should know what to install.

8.Once the Windows system components and installation structure have been installed, the update wizard should start automatically (primudpate.exe). .

9.In order to install your personalized version, you need to provide your company installation code and your Installation key, which have been supplied to you by the PRIM team..

PRIM is now installed on your computer!

This method should be used when installing a second version of PRIM on the same computer, e.g. for clients migrating to version 5, or clients benefiting from a PRIM beta version. .

! It is very important NOT to use the installer to install a second version of PRIM on a computer, and instead to follow these instructions and copy the contents to a new directory. The installer uses a default installation location, and using it could overwrite your current version of PRIM.

1.Find the primupdate.exe file in your PRIM installation folder (right-click on your PRIM shortcut and “Open file location”, and look for primupdate.exe).

2.Copy the primupdate.exe file in an empty folder on your desktop (you can name this new folder "PRIM V5" or "PRIM Beta" to help you recognize the version.

3.Download the latest versions of “Redistributable c++ 2022” and “Driver SQL Server 19”. Download the x64 or x86 versions depending on your operating system (your IT team will be able to help you quickly if you have difficulty).

4.Once these installations have been completed, launch primupdate.exe and enter the installation codes for your version 5 or beta provided by PRIM.

5.Wait a few seconds, and you PRIM V5 or beta should work fine.

ⅰIf you are still unable to connect to PRIM V5 or beta, please contact your IT team to install “Redistributable c++ 2022” and “Driver SQL Server 19”.

! Occasionally, database driver installation may require you to restart your computer. If you have difficulty completing the installation (between steps 7 and 8 of the standard installation), please restart your computer. Once restarted, launch PRIM by double-clicking on the icon.

! Sometimes, an antivirus may block the installation of PRIM. Make sure that PRIM is on the list of authorized software for your antivirus.
