Here's how to remove the restriction on the security groups concerned:

1.In the Actions menu of the Candidate window, click on Window security settings.

2.In the Translation and Security pane (SEC019), locate and select the TABLE:Candidate item.

3.Go to the Restrictions tab.

4.In the Groups section, locate and select the security group for which the restriction is to be lifted.

5.Still in the security window, click on (Delete), then on .

6.Repeat the operation for any other security group requiring the ability to delete candidates.

Users associated with the security groups concerned should now be able to delete candidates.

To be able to delete or anonymize a candidate, the PRIM Logix user must have NONE of the security groups for which the restriction applies.

To delete or anonymize a candidate, some conditions must be met:

•The candidate must no longer be active, and must have a status that prevents him/her from logging on to the Web portal. The statuses Completed, Inactive and Unwanted will usually allow deletion, but different statuses may allow it depending on your configuration.

•The candidate must not be associated with any current operation to be billed, paid or cancelled.

The candidate cannot be deleted and will instead be anonymized if it is associated with one or more registrations, including :

•The candidate is on a payroll

•The candidate is on a billed shift.

•The candidate is on a billed job offer.

•The candidate exists on a commission or remuneration for an agency employee.

To delete or anonymize a candidate:

1.Find and select the relevant candidate record.

2.In the window, click on (Delete)

3.A pop-up message appears, click on Yes.

4.This message appears if the candidate cannot be deleted or anonymized because the required conditions have not been met. Make any necessary checks and modifications, and repeat the operation once the conditions have been met.

5.This message appears if the candidate cannot be deleted but will be anonymized instead.
If this is the case, make sure that no identifying notes remain in the candidate's file.

At the end of the operation, the candidate will be deleted if he/she was not linked to any other record. In cases where candidates were associated with one or more records, the data will be anonymized. For example, the candidate's address, telephone number, e-mail address and any other identifying information will be removed from the record, and the candidate's name will be replaced by the candidate ID. However, any information entered in a text field, such as notes and comments, may remain. It is your responsibility to verify this information.
