Integration of the job board on your website

Here is an overview of how to create a job board on your website using the web services available to you.

Method 1 - Create your own job board

Using web service Jobs,  you can get the list of jobs to display in JSON format. The web service GetFilterCriteria returns in JSON the list of  available filters that can be used to for jobs.

Method 2 - Display PRIMWEB's job board using WordPress plugin

If you are using WordPress to create your website, we provide you with a plugin that integrates with WordPress and that allows, with a few lines of code, to insert PrimWeb's default job board in a WordPress page. Ask a PRIM integrator the WordPress plugin and instructions for use.

Method 3 - Display PRIMWEB's job board with an iFrame type HTML tag

If you can't use our WordPress plugin, you can just integrate the job board in a web page by calling it in an iFrame HTML tag. The URL that you will indicate in your iFrame tag is  "https://<agencyname>.primlogix.com/jobs"

You must also add the allow attribute in the iFrame tag with the value geolocation to allow the PRIMWEB code to obtain the position of the device the user is using to access the web page.

You can change the display language of the job board  by passing the parameter ?lang=<ISO 639-1 code of the display language in upper case> (639-1 codes for english = EN, french = FR) at the end of the job board URL. The search form at the top of the job board, as well as the jobs will be put in the desired language.

The languages available for the job board posting must be configured in PRIM, in the Languages pane of the configuration window.

You can improve the appearance of your iframe by installing on the side of your web page  the iframe-resize library, which allows you to adjust the size of your iFrame according to the size of the PRIMWEB job board content. This library is already installed in PRIMWEB. Just install the iframeResizer.min.js file on your website, include this file and call it in the page where the job board is displayed to get a nice look  of the job board on your website.

FAQ

Q: The jobs are not displayed in the display language selected, why?

A: Job titles or job summaries may not be displayed in the language of the job board. It simply means that the titles or job summaries have not been translated into the language of the posting. By default, the job board will display the job offer anyway, even if no translation exists for that job offer in the requested posting language. The job is then displayed in the available language.
