Updating preferences allows you to assign the best possible candidate to a request and avoid to have an unappreciated candidate in the list of available candidates.
To edit preferences, just tick or untick the preference icon check boxes in appropriate section of the tab.
Depending on your configuration or the filters applied, the candidates displayed in the list of available candidates may be different.
At the client's request, a candidate's work appreciation rating can be added in the "Priority" column. This notation can be added from the candidate's file or from the client's file. However, the box in the "Favorite" column must be checked to allow this rating to be added.
Priority 1 being the highest rating, this will allow you to select the best possible candidate for an assignment.
In the example below, we will use preferences by department. The same principles applies for general preferences of the client. However, the preference icon displayed in the planner will depend on how preferences are managed for this specific client (general or by department).
In Preferences tab of the Candidate window, select a client in the main area and go to Department's details section.
Candidate's preferences
1.Department 3
•Even if the candidate has never worked in this department, he or she expressed interest to work there.
•Check the box in the Would like column. The candidate will be displayed in the list of available candidates for a future request.
2.Department 4
•The candidate does nto want to work in this department.
•Check the box in the Do not want column. The candidate will not be displayed in the list of available candidate for a future request in this departement, no matter what other boxes are ticked.
3.Department 5
•The candidate has worked in this department before, and mentioned he or she loved to work there.
•Check the boxin the Like column. Unless the client expressed a negative interest about the candidate (Not wanted), the candidate will be displayed in the list of available candidates for a future request.
Client's preferences
4.Department 1
•In this departement, is particularly appreciated. Check the box in the Favorite column.
•In the Priority column, enter 1 and click on cliquez sur (Sauvegarder). Ce chiffre s'affichera à la droite du nom du candidat dans la liste des candidats disponibles pour une future demande.
•Unless a negative interest is expressed by the candidate (Does not want), the candidate will be displayed in th e list of available candidates for a future request.
5.Department 2
•In this department, the candidate is no longer appreciated.
•Check the box Not wanted. Le candidat ne s'affichera plus dans la liste des candidats potentiels.
