•Agency: the agency is responsible for assignment of the candidate to the request.

•Candidate: It is the action of the interested candidate that triggers his or her assignment to the request.

•Automatic pairing : Candidate and client actions together (both required) will trigger the candidate's assignment to the request.

Each of these actions is done by clicking on the "Interest" button  for each party (Green thumbs up) in the planner or on the Web portal.

The statuses presented below are the ones used in PRIM Logix's basic configuration. Depending on the customized configurations made for your agency, they may not reflect exactly the statuses used for your operations.

The assignment method is a setting linked to the request type. Thus, it is set up in the configuration window, in "Request type (CFG047)" pane which can be accessed clicking on the Settings button (1) in System ribbon.

In the tree structure for request types, select the desired type (2) and use the drop down menus (3) to select an assignment method for both punctual and grouped shifts requests.

You can also create assigment method exceptions on the Web based on various conditions. Please refer to the relevant section on this page.

For each request type, you can create Assignment method exceptions based on some specific conditions. These conditions may add up, if applicable. Here are the conditions allowing you to set up exceptions:
 
Security group:  If you have more than one Web security groups  for your candidates and clients, you can allow a different assignment method on the Web for candidates and clients with a specific security group. For example, the Candidate assignment method could be used for VIP candidates, or your client with a specific security group could be using automatic pairing.  

Time remaining before start: You can specify a time before the start of the shift after which the assignment method changes for this type of request.

Branch: You can specify in this column that the exception is active whether the associated branch is Open or Closed.

Grouped : Select the assignment method associated with the exception for grouped requests .

Punctual : Select the assignment method associated to the exception for punctual requests.

Conditions added to the same line are cumulative. Conditions on different lines must not conflict.  

Examples

In the examples below, the assignment method for request type Administrative assistant is Agency (a). However, in the tab Assignment method exceptions on the Web (b), 3 exceptions have been created to this type of request.  exceptions ont été créées pour ce type de demande :

1.If there are 12 hours or less remaining before the request is due to start AND the branch is closed, the Auto-pairing assignment method is activated for both punctual or grouped requests.

2.For candidates with Web candidate VIP Web security group, the Candidate assignment method is activated when there are 10 hours before the request is due to start AND the branch is closed, for both punctual or grouped requests.

3.For requests coming from client with the Web client - autonomous, the assignment method is Auto-pairing, regardless of whether the branch is open or closed and of the time remaining berfore start.  

In both cases, an employee of the agency may still assign a candidate by clicking on the interest button(s) corresponding to the assignment method, and if there are less than 10 hours before start, the Auto-pairing method remains the assigment method used for candidates who don't have the Web candidate VIP security group.

In the planner, you can easily recognize at a glance which assignment method is used for a request type. Just look at the section with the interest buttons (thumbs up or down). Each party that takes part in the assignment stands out from others as the label is in bold. For example, if automatic pairing is used, both the labels for Candidate and Client, as shown below.
